I just bought the house in the Fall of 2009. The house was a foreclosure and between the time the old residents moved out and I moved in the neighbor cut large rings around 4 of the trees and now one is dead. One of the neighbors filed a police report stating that they saw him do it. If I can get the report do I have a case to take him to small claims and get him to pay for taking it down?
